Why the South Bronx?

Educational Inequality exists in the South Bronx

The South Bronx is one of the most underserved congressional districts in the country. Average public school pass rates range from 29 to 31 percent, among the lowest in New York State. We believe a rigorous education, one that provides scholars with a liberated life full of choices, is one of the best ways to remedy social inequality.

It takes a village to raise a child and I can truly say the teachers, deans, and faculty members all had a hand in pushing, guiding, and challenging my child to a higher level academically. All six character pillars of caring, citizenship, honesty, respect, responsibility, and trustworthiness have helped make him a better person.
