Sample Parent Academy workshops include: Advocating for Your Child’s Needs, Using Character Pillars to Shape Positive Behavior, Making the Most of Your Child’s Summer, Time Management, Family Book Clubs
We Work Together to Create High School Access
Together with families, we work to ensure Classical alumni earn acceptance into the competitive high school of their choice. To see a list of the high schools our alumni attend around the city, click here.
To achieve this goal, we start the conversation with families early. Starting in 5th grade, our dedicated high school advisor works one-on-one with scholars and their families to navigate the high school admissions process. We help families enroll in competitive preparatory programs around the city like Prep for Prep, Breakthrough, DREAM, TEAK, and ESPI, which provide tutoring, test prep, admissions assistance, financial aid, and campus visits. We also work with families to choose schools based on scholars’ interests and help them navigate the application process by tracking deadlines, reviewing applications, and coordinating teacher recommendations.
Where scholars choose to attend high school has a massive impact on their future opportunities. At Classical, we’re committed to ensuring all alumni leave on a path that will lead them to their goals.

I appreciate the curriculum; in a short two months my son was able to read. Overall, it’s been great so far.
